  1. More of a soft launch at the moment. Going to properly submit it to google probably Tuesday I reckon, then once I have a few more listings I can really start working on the SEO and hopefully get it top of google. Currently don't have much to work with. Only 8 listings so far.
  2. Well..... You should really focus more on the red wine, and of course the lovely local ladies are always a feast for the eyes. Have been around a fair bit of Italy. You will see a lop of badly topped trees thats for sure. Lots of Cedars, and some amazing Magnolias.
  3. The whole biomass thing is baffling. Supply is definitely going to be an issue in the future as you say
  4. There used to be a big Cedar tree similar to this in Raydon, near Diss. The Cedar spanned right over the top of the spire and it was quite a sight. Tried finding a photo on google but no luck so far.
  5. Cheers. Just to clarify though in case you win, its a MODEL chainsaw....just saying, as some people seem a bit put out ?
  6. Did no one see the photo of clearly a model chainsaw on a stand? ?
  7. Well I guess someone’s lost a chainsaw! https://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/news/cambridge-news/a11-truck-fire-suffolk-chainsaw-16322324
  8. I agree, its a great pic. You should put it on your website ?

By entering you agree to Stihl and Arbtalk using your image on social media channels.
  12. Some of you may have noticed the Checkatrade banner offering 12 months for the price of 10. We have had various threads over time on Checkatrade and other websites that promise to boost enquiries. I remember last time round there was a mixed bag of opinions on how effective Checkatrade for tree surgeons actually is. Some claimed as much as 90% of their work was as a direct result, with others saying they received no enquiries. I would be keen to hear more up to date results, or any other advertising routes you may have gone down. Poll attached.
  13. For me the reverse was true. When I was getting wood for free or cheap it was a good little earner on the side. When prices started rising around 10 years ago it killed it for me. I was only doing around 80-100 ton a year and realised for it to be a viable business I would need to be selling an awful lot more than that
  14. Having to pick someone up every day is a massive pain in the arse. Even if it is only a couple miles away. All that time adds up significantly over the course of a week/month. Even more annoying when they aren't ready. Years ago I got roped into picking someone up. Started off ok but as time went by more and more liberties were taken. The final straw was when he came running out of the house one morning and asked me if I could wait a minute as he was just changing the little ones bum. That in itself wouldn't have bothered me, its the fact his partner was a stay at home mum and could quite easily have done it herself.
  15. Found a bug in the address fields; people who have already submitted listings need to redo the address when they can please. The auto-populating was double populating the fields. Fixed now
  16. Is cousin the manufacturer? Never even heard of it
  17. skinned up outside your house or the customers?
  18. Yes. So the way I envisage it is the classifeds would be on a different part of the site, but anything you posted would also be shown on your listing page
  19. Did anyone else throw up in their mouth a little when jamie got it on with 'the big woman'? Sansa, hated the whiney cow from day 1 and towards the end she got on my nerves even more. Hated seeing her on the throne at the end. John, well his life just sucks Danaerys, well she kinda had it coming I'd like to see a follow up story on the unsullied...I mean its not like they can put their spears down and start a family.
  20. If I was to develop a marketplace addition for the directory would people use it?
  21. Looks like you need to set the map pin correctly
  22. Oh dear ? What problems were you having? Keen to streamline it as much as possible
