Can't imagine anyone can have survived being trapped in there.

 

Truly awful incident.

 

I don't understand why we have such buildings, yet appear to have no equipment for dealing with such a blaze?

 

It seems Dave that it was recently " clad " with alot of very flammable plastic . The locals have been concerned since it was done .

You would think so , yes . Perhaps the spec of some of the material needs addressing ?

There was no fire booster pumps in the block of flats I worked on a few years ago. If the block in the link should have caught fire there was no way of getting water upto the top.
