Moving on from this particular detail of the hospital, and back to the wider picture of the whole situation. What's the endgame?

Setting aside for now the inhumanity of what's happened, and is still happening, what's the strategy of the Israeli government, aside from its immediate objective? I'm not sure that they've really considered it. Say they do succeed in erasing Gaza, which I'm sure they can, given enough time and collateral damage. They'll kill some or most of Hamas and the general (innocent) population and the rest will escape the country. (Though I heard somewhere that the Hamas top dogs don't actually live in Gaza anyway). What happens then?

The best case is a whole new generation of jihadi fighters is spawned, hell bent on carrying out more terrorist atrocities. Worst case is more Islamist groups and maybe countries in the region get drawn into the conflict with unknown consequences for the rest of the world. Israel is surrounded by Arab, Muslim countries and there are still more Muslims all over the globe; it can't fight them all forever.

Israel is like a Jack Russel Terrior, when it's mind is set, I'll fight until it dies.

It's a frightening situation, without a doubt 😣

Well let’s just hope the tens of thousands of military aged males masquerading as asylum seekers whom some very foolish people welcome here, that have illegally crossed the channel don’t decide to kick off or we will have a huge problem on our hands. Something akin to the groups of pro Palestinian protesters you are already seeing being allowed to harass Jewish people with weak willed police observation.
I’ve attached a couple of images from a LI post from another like minded individual, for those who express confusion.

I think it’s telling that the most vociferous anti Israeli accounts on Twitter have shut up about this and moved on.

Having an open mind is great. But the truth is the truth.
Finding that out is what we should aspire to, not just muttering about media bias and AI.

Not sure If that's a twattish post or not 🤔.

I'll err on the side of caution.

Twat !

Not at all... the reference was to Marks tag line above "talking Bollocks since 1968" - he was doing fantastic football things a lifetime ago - and kept on doing them ever since
