Gary Lineker has been stood down as MOTD presenter, he was good, but it’s basically a football highlights show so anyone could do it.

Ian Wright won’t do the show tomorrow in solidarity, so every cloud and all that..

Should have stuck to what he was paid to do

I don’t think he cares, he’s made a ton of money. I think he wanted to go down in flames saying what he wanted to say.

Yet after the criticism he seemed arrogant enough to think he would get away with that.

Why not just do what every other EU country does, pay zero benefits or support.

No money = no attraction

They arrive here, we offer one option.

1. Free flight home, submit a claim from there and we'll look at it eventually or just ban you like Australia.

Many genuine asylum seekers can’t claim asylum from their own countries, due to our ridiculous laws, hence they get in small boats in northern France to land on our beech’s, all the while paying people traffickers whilst governments fiddle with it to try to please the masses.

I'm not sure if you've looked at a map, the rule is 1st safe country, not the 2/3/4/5/6th.

If you're moving from an unsafe country to a safer country it's not like shoe shopping you don't walk around trying on different ones.

If you want to talk sense, I’m here to listen, people from some war torn countries can not get a legal way here, so they come by boat along with a load of illegals, because they have no way of applying for asylum until they are here. I’m sure you are to dim to see where it’s going wrong. And before you say it isn’t going wrong, illegal immigrant numbers are rising year on year.

Pick a war torn country and look at a map before trying to make out that they just get on a boat. Why not pick one and see.

You can still walk into any uk embassy in any neighboring country and request an application.

I know perfectly well where it's going wrong, the EU doing sod all to stop them crossing the whole of Europe and us not changing the law to say NO. Because it's not in the EU's benefit.
