tbh,

I think a privatised health care service is where different companies compete to provide healthcare to the Government. So my colleague would still get his hips replaced from taxpayers money.

Maybe for relatively routine operations, like hips, it makes sense for the operations to be undertaken in cheaper countries like East Europe.

Are you for real ??? You bang on about inmigrants then in the next breath your advocating sending elderly patients for a hip replacement in some shithole in eastern europe where the healthcare is lax at best.

Your deluded...

And desperate

Your so fixated by the immigration issue you have NO real answers to a whole plethora of other problems our nation faces which are just as important

The leader of the Labour Party who was predicted to only last 6 months (alongside the onslaught of relentless bashing from the media) is appearing on TV in the leaders debate tonight - whilst our strong & stable Prime Minister, isn't.

Cheers, Steve

I can only see 2 reasons for her not taking part. She's either so arrogant that she thinks she can do what she likes because it's already in the bag or she's not able to take part in an unscripted debate. :001_rolleyes::001_rolleyes:

Sorry, missed that bit....

You missed this bit too which is unlike a person of your temerity:

🤔

Which category within the parameters I specified do you most closely associate yourself with Mark...?

Well I'm 40, from a working class background. Parents and grand parents labour voters. Local MP is Ian Mearns . What about it?

Children should be fed (breakfast) at home not at school!

The responsibility for providing the platform for children to flourish at school lies firmly with the parent / guardian NOT the school.

School is for education. That's it.

There's a VERY limited space where the "state" might set strategic policy for raising children but the tactical / operational / day-to-day business of parenting is for PARENTS not state or, by extension, school.

Yes the parents should feed them but in reality a lot don't. It is the responsibility for those that can to look after those in need. I cannot vote for a government who will take food away from children. It's only as I got older I realised how lucky I was as a child compared to some of the kids I went to school with.

As for May not doing a live debate wtf is that all about! How can she be given any credibility at all.

Healthcare in some of Eastern Europe is actually fairly good... Is it really such a bad idea for the NHS to send patients there for cheaper operations?

Regarding immigration. I've seen how immigration reduces wages for British workers...

At least they turned up.

It's the contradictions though. For instance the Green Party want to protect the environment and also have an open door policy.

You can have one of those or the other - are the Greens really happy about building houses on green belt to house migrants?

Then they want to protect the NHS as well as allowing millions of EU migrants access to it.
