I seem to remember Live Aid being held up as such an example:  any knowledge on that one @Baldbloke ?

Wasn’t involved in that crock of shit, but yes, I got in trouble from my wife when I shouted at Geldof and the other well meaning idiots on the telly.
I was more involved in West Africa where necessary items (pipe work, pumps and medical stuff) were sent directly. That was largely a waste of time too as the Customs men needed their cut (cash or essential items from the containers) and the the locals would soon lose or break anything that was installed. Corruption, greed and darwinism in action. The Chinese and Indians understand this and that’s why they’re successful businessmen, in a small part, in that continent.

He's a very clever and exceedingly dangerous cnut imo
I read somewhere a whole load of changes to planning rules were snuck through whilst all this crap has been going on.

Clever = nope;
dangerous = somewhat.

Answer (1 of 26): I’ll present a ‘top 50’, and you can make up your own mind:1. Sacked for making up a quote while working as a newspaper journalist. Three times.2. Sacked for lying about an affair.3. Discussed having a journalist beaten up.4. Endangered a British citizen jailed in Iran, lik...

We’ve heard of at least 6 young children in the past two weeks who have either been killed or died 🤔 as a result of torture and neglect which made front page news for a couple of days - then nothing🤔. There’s Russian troops massed on the European border(Ukraine) poised to invade🤔, there’s  probably British military based there at the moment with a British para battalion on notice to deploy there at short notice which could bring the U.K. into direct conflict with Russia( despite what Wallace the armed forces minister says🤔) which could escalate a lot further🤔. The navy recently sailing around the South China seas being threatened by China, sailing around the Baltic with Russia claiming to of fired on them🤔. Anyone for a small war😳. And all we get in the papers and on the TV on a daily basis is about Boris’s mates and their bit of tinsel and bloody nibbles😫. Oh and the odd glass of wine. Who gives a toss😫. It’s their lives and immediate family that they put at risk. There were thousands of people across the U.K. doing the same, it’s just they don’t have someone photographing and nicking videos wanting to stick the knife in😫. The only reason we keep hearing Labour going on about it is because it’s the only thing they’ve possibly got on Boris🤔. The press keep it going because they would like nothing more than the fall of Boris and the Conservative party to give them something else to sell papers and draw audiences. Quite honestly I don’t think any of them could of done a better job on the reaction to Covid, that’s why Labour have backed the government on various measures that of been in place. Starmer won’t even admit to being a socialist even though he’s been a member of various socialist groups in the past. He doesn’t know whether to stick or twist🙄. And as for the Lib-dams 😂. Brexit still needs finishing off and trade agreements sorting😫 because we’re  all suffering because of that unfinished business.

there’s no doubt in my mind that the government and civil servants are a back stabbing nest of vipers and it can’t go on but I don’t see a credible alternative at the moment.

Quite honestly there’s far more important issues that affect us all than cheese, wine and nibbles, which by the way would actually give me indigestion😫.

They will be available to the public in 55 years.

Who was taking them, there's not a laptop or pen and paper in sight. I can't believe the brass neck of 'em.
