Always seems to be the way with politicians, blunder after blunder, double standards and complete fook-ups and then some little hiccup comes along which allows them to slip off into the shadows without having to face any consequences for their actions. Get out of jail free card and I don't suppose he can keep the smirk off of his face.

The papers contain details about UK warship HMS Defender and the British military.

Now its top secret docs?

Quote

The documents, almost 50 pages in all, were found in a soggy heap behind a bus stop in Kent early on Tuesday morning.

The ones to feel for are his family.  Apparently (maybe) his wife had no inkling and three kids - one of them just 8 - have lost Daddy with no warning.  That's rough.
I really hope the media have the decency to keep his family out of the limelight this time. They don't deserve to be the focus of an intrusive frenzy.

I hope so too.

And don't make G4S look good, because it's about to hit the fan for them on sexual harassment on ladies in quarantine hotels.

I often wonder how with a succession of absolutely totally wrong modelling predictions to his name he somehow  continuously manages to get so much coverage for every bloody utterance he comes out with

Stinks to tell the truth 🤷‍♂️As you say far easier to drop them to a police station than try and find out how to get them to the BBC.

You would think so, wouldn't you...

A couple of years ago we had our river dredged. I was going through the dredgings before they got knocked flat to remove anything that might damage the plough and found a sub-machine gun.

I duly took it down to the local police station (wrapped up so it didn't look like one) only to find they no longer have a public counter. I rang the phone on the wall which connected me to headquarters and explained what I wanted to hand in. They transferred me to someone else who after 40 rings of not picking up I decided wasn't going to and put the phone down. Nobody in the station could be bothered to come downstairs.

I did contemplate shoving it barrel first into the knife amnesty box but decided that wasn't very public spirited, so I wandered off and brought it home again.
