Makes me fancy a bit of a walk along Offa's Dike.

I walked it a few years ago. Lovely countryside along the route.

Alright I’ll bite.

If those two really wanted to lead a private life, he could have got a job piloting helicopters and she could have continued acting.

No bother.

But wouldn’t you know it she wants to be the queen of la la land so off to Oprah they go.

My prediction, they’ll get forgotten about fairly soon and she’ll kick his arse into touch within 5 years.

mass public discontent at a 1% pay rise for the NHS.

You think so Mark?

the “NHS” is a massive behemoth.

Many parts of that massive behemoth have had absolutely no adverse impact from COVID. In fact, many departments have been like the Mary Celeste.

Wouldn’t it be better to target those elements within the NHS that had played an active role rather than treat the whole thing as one?

For an individual, 1% is - of course - paltry but across the entire organisation it is literally BILLIONS.

(I know, billions have already been spaffed up the wall but that’s no reason to just carry on doing it)

This was posted by the chairwoman of the parish council today, she was ranting about fly tipping. Have a guess how much the BC pay to have this taken away by their contractors.

according to the chairwoman what you see in the picture is the extent of the fly tip

Of course the NHS is an overcomplicated beast.
I do reckon they need to do something to entice people into working there. Seemingly stitching their own workforce is unlikely to endear any future prospective candidates.

I also maintain that it's a convenient reason to write less about covid deaths and shabby trade deals.  All good timing for a week where schools reopen and the "super-spreading" starts again.

Tin foil hat ahoy!

Secondary school pupils will start taking rapid 'lateral flow' coronavirus tests from today. If...

Pure and utter stupidity. If it’s proven to be a false positive why on earth would a whole household still be expected to isolate for 10 days. Not hard to see why people are pretty much paying lip service to guidance when there is zero common sense or logic involved.

Just read a news article the minister concerned has back peddled and now says you dont have to isolate 🤷‍♂️, if I was this shit at my job I’d be out in my arse pronto 😡😡

Super spreading has to be one of the most naff pathetic hysterical phrases to come out of this whole saga.
