She's called a press conference for 2pm today so it doesn't look good for him. Not looking great for Truss either as it's being reported the Tory MP's are rumbling about giving Penny a go instead.

Shes not having a great run of it. Using Kwasi as a scapegoat isn't going to pan out for her either I don't think.

I reckon whatever she does at this stage she's already doomed.

Pepperpot Penny would be a more attractive proposition, but I don't know about her leadership capabilities!

I'd agree, shes slightly more attractive 😁

I don't think it matters who gets in or what policies the bring in, they will just be hounded and ripped to pieces by the opposition, regardless of whether or not the policies are any good. Same will go for when Labour inevitably get in power. We will just go round and round in circles with petty arguing, blaming, name calling, etc.

Theres a lot to be said for dictatorships.

It’s just a bad period at the moment, these things are cyclical.

We don’t know we’re having good times when we’re having them (2011 to 2020 for example) we just assume that it’s always going to be like that.

This lot remind me of the end of the John Major administration, no talent, no vision, no hope.

I’ve never voted Labour in my life, but I would now, this shambles cannot go on.

It is the media that do that not the opposition. Our country is being dictated by the media not the politicians.

l will repeat something I posted before about media reporting.

In an interview with Tommy Docherty after he got sacked by Man United he was asked if he felt the newspapers got him the the sack.

His reply

“Yes they did, the kept publishing the results”
