flipping brutal. It looked like murder to me.

 

I've normally a lot of sympathy for the police in that situation. However that looked like the worst game of "Simon Says" ever.

Thats hard to watch, the poor fella..  

 

Is it murder though?.   afraid not.   was it right?, No, far from it... 

 

was common sense used by the police officer?, seems to me it wasn't...   no doubt the officer concerned will be gotten rid for poor judgement in time...

 

Not much consolation for the victim and his family though is it?..

If it had been a black guy that was shot there would have been riots...

You tube is littered with stuff like that . One guy was walking along in a rural looking area . Small town I think . Cops pulled up in 3 squad cars . Told him to stop through loud haler . He did . Told him to lay flat on the ground . He did . Told him to get up . He did . Told him to walk toward them with his hands held aloft . He did . As soon as he was away from the back drop of the shop they drilled him . Dead before he hit the ground mercifully . He was unarmed wearing a T shirt and trousers .  No charges .

Yeah, this shows that the American police will shoot any unarmed citizen, regardless of race.

I too am normally on the cops side, and I appreciate we don't know the context, but whatever it was, how that could ever be justified is totally beyond me.
