They fooled a lot of people, mate, me included. It's one of those things that helped make me the cynical old barsteward that I am today. :001_rolleyes::001_smile:

Fooling people is a politicians job is it not? The truth and reality are just too boring or too hard to take![emoji15]

I don't know if that's right Mark. When the holiday park I was managing in chepstow was sold and I was given the choice of Worcester or nothing by my employer, I had to move or I was homeless or jobless. Me and the wife went to the local housing office and asked for help. Sorry no can do was the reply. Find a family member to stay with wad the only advice we received. As I recall we were still in the glorious leadership of Labour then

Exactly Richie , people are absolutely deluded if they think things will be better under labour.

Personally think it's shameful if you have fallen for corbyns class war bollox, his whole manifesto was based on hatred of people who have gotten off there arses and worked towards something better.

Labour for me self employed was a disaster 6k tax threshold !!

Too many people are thinking that they are still children and need the government to keep them. The idea people with a few quid in the bank should hand it over to them appeals. Free money, free house, what kid wouldn't want that? Grownups know they need to look after themselves

ILL SAY THIS IN BIG SHOUT WORDS....... WE, SOME OF US THAT ARE WHAT YOU WOULD CALL LEFTIES DONT WANT FREE MONEY OR FREE HOUSES.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

We've paid our way through life for everything we own.

:congrats:

And we also understand that life deals some people a s**t hand just like it deals others a good one and being a decent caring society means that they need help.
