Had to get the stump grinder and digger onto an island, strapped the pontoon to the landing craft ,welded some drums together  and strapped them to the pontoon to add a bit of stability. Entering this lot into the Cowes regatta next year :thumbup1:

I bet your sphincter was tight as a drum when you watched that being driven on!

Ye of little faith 😂

 

Ruben that landing craft on its own can handle the stump grinder, its was the digger with all the buckets that prompted me to add the pontoon and drums :)

 

That landing craft can take about three tons before it sinks, smaller grinder,two guys, winch and a load of other clobber.

Looks a decent bit of kit and if I was built like their chippers it would be reliable too.
