    Climber in Germany

job still available - its not a subcontractor job since this might get me into trouble with social security contributions if someone's working depentenly on directives from me. So its a permanent employment. Accomodation poa

    Climber in Germany

Hi folks, thanks for your replies: i have been looking for a qualified climber over a month or so, but the local market is kinda empty. i would have to poach a guy from another company, but that is not too honorable... Since Brexit it's a bit more complicated to work for Britains in Germany, but it doesnt take more that one or two weeks to get a working permit. English is fine, no need to speak german. Had a spanish climber working for me a couple of years ago, that was more of a problem since he just spoke catalan and no english. Customers really liked it when we set up with an intl. team, most enjoyed the opportunity to talk to foreigners and communicate in english. 3.200€ is where it *starts*. The better you are, the more you get. Plus you get a car which can be used privately. Cost of living in ger, esp consumer prices, is lower than in GB - so you cant just convert EU to GBP. If anyone's interested just go ahead. many greetings Jan
  4. Hi all, i am looking for a skilled climber (permanent employment full-time/part-time) near Hamburg, Germany. You need to have a drivers license up to 3.5t incl trailer. Your job will not only be climbing, but also working with our 3.5t aerial platform, stumpgrinding etc. You will be provided a fully equipped car (movano) and you can mostly drive directly to the job sites. gross salary full time min. 3.200€ per month if you are interested, send me a message: [email protected] or +49 177 1742579 many greetings Jan
  5. using Jensen Stump Grinders since 2017. Unfortunately they dont build them any more. many greetings Jan
  6. its 290€ + VAT for the box ehb shop - Häckslersteuerung
  7. i have a 6" tracked chipper from greenmech. found out a couple of month ago, that you have to remove! the lower feed-in roller to GREASE the bearing (of course never did that before, u certainly know what happened...) also over the last 150 hours i had to replace alternator and starter, V-Belts (once both belts to the track pump ripped apart and me and the chipper stood pretty lost in the middle of a busy street) and some broken wiring. the bowden cables were a pain in the ass during strong winters -20C, they just froze so i replaced them by hydraulic control levers. Beside those issues, its a really nice machine
  8. those mogs where obviously used for highway maintanence. usually no heavy towing+terrain. i therefore wouldnt say its underpowered. then, i got completely lost in your "impressing the shareholders" argument
  9. hi arbtalkers, the unfortunate daihatsu dm950 diesel on my stump grinder needs to be replaced by a more healthy engine. having read a couple of opinions on this little troublemaker, i've decided not to remanufacture it, since it easily overheats and tends to quit life much more earlier than expected by all the hard working tree fellers:sneaky2: i have found the yanmar 3tnv88 to be the lucky one, chosen by vermeer to empower their new 372, successor of the 352. any opinions on adapting this engine on my old (2005) grinder? many greetings, jan
  10. Jeremy, unfortunately you were right. all 3 bores are damaged, showing abrasion marks. engine can be repaired but that will cost a fortune. also, these daihatsu diesel engines seems to be produced for the northamerican market only in coop with b&s and are not sold any more....maybe adapting a yanmar 3cyl? thanks to all the other guys for their help! jan
  11. i will check all that esp the fuel solenoid by tomorrow. today i unscrewed the 3 injectors for a 3/4 turn or so and all of them were leaking during the starting procedure so i assumed that being okay. again, thanks for your quick help!
  12. oil pressure + glow switch OK all 3 diesel injectors work i am running out of ideas and two local dealers are busy for the next 10 days. also i am concerned about the engine unwilling to start even with start aid spray
  13. hi arbtalkers, my SC352 Diesel is having some serious starting problems, here is the story: cold starting has never been an issue, but re-starting the warm engine was sometimes a pain in the ass. engine turned over and it spit out lots of unburned diesel but just wouldnt start. after a 30min break or so it finally started on the 3rd turn. alternator + battery + 5sec oil pressure button relais + glow plugs + electric connections OK this problem has occured the last week. now it decided to stop working completely and wouldnt even perform a cold start. even ignition spray(?) didnt work, so i am thinking of poor engine compression. but i havent noticed a change in the exhaust gas or anything which would direct towards a broken valve.. i'd appreciate any other ideas:001_smile:
  14. hi arbtalkers, we finally found the problem. parts of the broken belts slammed against the cable route and caused some cables to break 40cm away at a sharp edge.
  15. thanks for your answers! i'll check the complete electric tomorrow. Andreas from greenmech.de has already provided some technical support on the phone when simultaneously both track drive belts, one electric motor from the x-leg and two bowden cables broke (!) :-)
