Got fed up with the hopper on the big Vermeer getting knocked out of its stay grove and dropping down and bending so a bit of glueing stuff together with electricity and the buggers not going anywhere.

D2s been in the shed a few weeks with no air in the suspension, meaning I've been back to using my ranger for everything🥴😕

Had a few minutes this morning,  turns out it was just a blown compressor, completely full of mud! Stuck a spare on, seems to be OK 12 hours later🤞🤞

Well this is a first for me.... wondered why it sounded loud.... then started smoking as it melted the under side of the Saw lol 😆

Finished job off with a mates house 540xp which was a really nice saw to use.

Not had this issue on any of my other 201t's.... Good job I've a few spare saws

Seen quite a few with the crack between the mounting screw turrets, not with the chunk missing. The heat causes expansion and eventually cracks the underside of the muffler like in your case.

Someone left the little valtra door open, then tried to reverse the Ranger/tipping trailer alongside ready to chip. Apparently the truck wasn't going backwards well so they put it in 4wd low box and gave it some, resulting in the door being ripped off and the windows shattered onto a stock field. Worse still it was a doorless 90min drive home at the end of the day.

Not popular!

Here's a sight that is both rare and beautiful - a screw extractor that worked!

Broken exhaust stud

Cheers, that was on a kubota oc95, which I think you have a few of.

The screw extractors have quite a course thread, the ones I've had less success with in the past have a finer thread.

Drilled a small pilot hole, then a slightly bigger hole, both with left hand drill bits just incase it caught. Put the screw extractor in, few taps in with a hammer, attach tap wrench handle (so you can apply even pressure), then cross fingers and clench buttocks!!

Now I'm jealous. The number of broken exhaust studs on those flipping engines, and not once have I managed that.last one I drilled it, and got  my welder to re fill the hole and re tap it.

Do you think it's just the engine vibrations that does it?

I noticed the exhaust seemed to be vibrating more than usual, bent down, and both exhaust mounting bolts had disappeared, then on feeling round the back there was only 1 stud left holding the whole thing on .

I'm assuming the mounting bolts have worked there way out first, and that led to the stud snapping?

Have you had any bother with the fuel tanks cracking? I've had mine brazed twice now by a friend, due to tiny cracks. Got a universal tank to fit to it at somepoint, it's still in the shed :$
