Transit timing chain let go, not a noisy one either :thumbdown: Did not have time to mess about so stuck in a second hand engine and box.

Just snapped, cant see a reason for it because nothing is siezed.

 

 

We had the same happen on a motorway trip, most unexpected and the blokes couldn't say what had caused it, I suspect they stuck it in third instead of fifth

he made a nice profit out you on that one aspenarb, genuine screen from mercedes is £100, and 10 mins fits one.

 

Takes longer than 10 minutes to get the rubber to stay on the screen while you get the string round it and lift it into place I always find :thumbup:
