I did something similar years ago but not with a mulcher..

 

Test driving a mf399 I bought off someone on here and the side panel dropped off on the road Test 😂 luckily wasn't run over so put it back on :D

You may be wondering (on the knot thread) why I’m in the workshop.

Well Friday, the lad put the safety cable on differently and too tight to the back of the truck.

Consequence, brakes came on when turning left, drove home till pulled up by another motorist telling him about the smoke coming from the wheels.

Brakes bollocked, bearings cooked as well.

If I can get the parts, shouldn’t be too bad (or expensive)

Just a matter of getting the bits off ready to source the parts, no real spanner work yet.
