Just seen this post and must say mate, what the hell are you working for this guy for. go to the government web page and read your rights as an employee. By the sounds of it you would be better off signing on than working for this planker!

 

Bosses like yours do not deserve to be in business, you need to be honest to yourself and jack the job tomorrow.

But then he wont be able to make a claim for benefits for 4-6 weeks.

 

Surely someone can give him some ad hoc work to tide him over so he can ditch this geezer & give him time to find a better job?

 

From the sounds of it one day per week working for a reasonable rate would do it.
