stress

Recommended Posts

I packed my business in due to stressing over finances etc. what made it worse was seeing others doing a bad job and still getting work and getting away with it when I was trying to do the job right. I now work on an estate, took the job thinking it would ease the worries of business. But it's just as bad I get so frustrated and stressed at the speed things happen, attitude of other staff and laziness. Still do my own jobs at weekends to get my "hard graft fix"

I have started to grit my teeth. I often find myself lying on the sofa or in bed doing it.

I do that! Also lower back starts pinching and if I ignore it turns into major muscle spasms and a trip to physio and/or diazepam.

well, this is my second time around. Last time I jacked the firm in and went freelancing for 10 years...I was very stressed out. I try and just do 4 days on the tools and spend a day pricing/doing maintenance (although it doesn't always work that way!). Its too easy to do too much...this time I'm giving myself a bit of space and trying to share the workload a bit more with the blokes...I'm spending a bit of time doing stuff I want to do...martial arts, parachuting and having the occasional skinfull of beer with mates!...don't forget to live, at the end of the day - its just a job :)

Know exactly how you feel there mate, I've been subbing to another firm 5 days a week since last July due to lack of work on my own part and doing my own work at weekends but 3 weeks of working with one of the worst feckwits there meant by the end of yesterday I could feel myself building up for anothe rmajor anxiety attack so glad I was off today else think I would have been bad again :001_cool:
