what sort of chipper is that? awesome gear as usual!

I think it’s UFKES - we had one on a job recently and I was really impressed!

They were running this on a loaned tractor whilst there new one was being prep’d (swapping controllers over from the trade-in) and it was apparently massively underpowered - it still did a great job as far as I was concerned!

I think they’ll build you pretty much what you want - mounted on tracks/with a bunker/self powered etc. Good bits of kit.

Testing out the digger on some rock placement, blew out a track and also managed to bang the hydraulic fitting on the boom cylinder with a log which required a new hose

How do people get on with there 1.8-9 t diggers?

Does anyone run a flail on them or shear?

Just been thinking I the 1.8t volvo will be fit for what I want.... I just think the 2.5t machines are quite large....

By the bye....

I've possibly got the chance of chopping my little volvo back in against a kubota kx61-3 or a u27-4. What do people think of these?

I've only got 3t train weight and do not want to change motors! So would have to accept the train weight is over!

Is the bigger machine going to be a lot better? I'm thinking with my head for a change and considering the long run....

Cheers

Bigger machine is a lot better for Arb work. You’re always shifting heavy lumps.

Sod the train weight. What’s the truck?

Run a ranger and a master tipper....

Rock and a hard place as only need to get itnout to the bigger machines like the botex or loader etc and have to get in places too....
