Shifted some mulch on the way to pick up the timber from a pine takedown

 

Nice easy day with an early finish

 

 

If that's Al up there John that crane must be pretty impressive fully erect.

So today we went to a run of the mill back garden pruning job. You know, topping birch, pollarding conifers and selling pegs.

 

The customer asked for an extra, could we "finish" his Thuja he started trimming. Apparently he did the lower bits until his wife banned him getting up on any steps.

 

Apparently it'd been like this over a month;

That's a pity it had to come down.

 

 

Yeah, was a beaut, resistograph showed it had very little left, stump shot was 50cm above test points. client didn't want ongoing cost so down it came

The standing on the stump (with a big saw) shot is a classic......

 

I'm thinking about getting a few shots next time I'm using a Jack Hammer.

 

Or how about next time you've sorted a blocked drain, stood on a pile of steaming .....:biggrin:
