For my first go on SRT this afternoon I had this turd to polish. Previously heavily reduced Birch with lots of decay in the old wounds. I was quite pleased how it came out all things considered, although I suspect the next visit will be a fell. No before pic.

A week of pine removals, been a busy week with one thing and another but the guys managed to get a few snaps today when we removed the last tree and timber from the other four with a crane

Nice looking job John, bet the crane saved some serious amount of time instead of rigging down.

Like the fastrac set up, almost looks like the cab was custom made for the crane to sit in dip

So I got invited to the DMM factory. Got allowed to take a few snaps.

The ethos on product quality was next level stuff. After every stage they checked them to ensure they are to the standard. Tested, inspected, tested again. I honestly did not appreciate how much goes into and how many karabiners get made in a week. ImageUploadedByArbtalk1457166332.262168.jpg.619a02961f505aed0ae1a16440ab1968.jpg

It was really cool to talk to the guys and girls making whichever product they were making. All lovely people with knowledge of what they are making rather than a factory line as such.

Also I'm glad I'm a passenger in the car today as DMM really know how to drink.

Cool , looks a good day out Ian.

It would be interesting to see how they get ridiculous strength out of the tiny accessory krabs ! Think they are one of my favourite inventions at the moment for clipping on working SRT accessories.
