I spent a hour after work cutting logs tonight with my little husky, it started easier revved a lot better as well and I checked the plug when I was done and it looked good:thumbup: not sure I want to use it In my 346 just yet because its good great on normal 2stroke

Just paid £23.99 for 5 litres in Leicestershire (not naming) because I happen to be here today and I need some.

 

Absolutely bonkers price.

 

Last can I bought was about £18 which is already plenty expensive.

Just looked at the list price on Aspen's website and it quotes a rrp of:

12 x 1L £4.98 per 1L = £59.76

3 x 5L £18.93 per 5L can = £56.79

1 x 200L £685.91 = £3.43 per litre

 

Now those are the quoted rrp and of course they can be cut or increased by the dealer. But I still reckon you've been done. Time to source a different Aspen dealer me thinks.

My 346 has been on Aspen for years, it's fine mate.

Strangely, the Aspen site has the price wrong, but only slightly. The actual RRP is £18.98 per 5 litres (inc vat)

 

I have heard that some dealers consider the margin is insufficient so mark up the price, but these dealers are the minority.

 

The normal practice is to sell small quantities at RRP but offer a small discount on purchases of maybe 9 or more cans.

A full pallet would normally attract a higher discount.

 

A minimum of 3 cans could be delivered for a delivery cost of £24.00, adding £8.00 to each can therefore making them £26.98 (RRP plus delivery)
