Your piano playing?

I wish. Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini, 18th Variation, by Sergei Rachmaninov. Well beyond my talents (at least when played in it's entirety).

I did see it performed once, maybe 10 years ago. It was Stephen Hough at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh. Wonderful.

Are you still playing?

More than three weeks of lovely summer weather now. Generally 20-28c. Today was at the cooler end and a bit breezy but the water was still 19.5c. It has rained once in that time, briefly and mostly overnight.

To hit 30c mid week. That's a bit warm, to be fair.

Pretty warm here. Bit breezy today but that helped cool things down a bit.

A beautiful morning today. 05:00, sunrise over a lake just north of the village

Do the locals fish in the lakes?  If so what do they catch?
