Our ponds are full, and the first one solely from rainfall, the past 12 month the big pond has never dropped, such was the weather, unlike a couple of years ago when it dropped 2' in a dry spring. Our ground is still bloody wet underfoot, despite the searing weather.

It's very dry and sunny here too. Barely had any rain in 8 weeks - only 5mm precipitation recorded in February.

These photos were taken on my way home from work a couple of days ago, and this is what it's been like for a couple of weeks now:

Hard to describe how balmy and mild and sunny it is here in North Co. Antrim.

March has been an unbelievably dry and warm month. From beginning to end, with only a smirring of rain a couple of days ago.

Yesterday afternoon we were in Portrush, and again staggeringly fine sunny weather, with zero biting wind

Better than we experience many a summer.

Might even be tempted to go skinny dipping!

We didn't have too much in the way of fine weather in March until now, unlike you. It's looking grand for the next couple of weeks though. Warm days but cold nights. Don't want any cheeky frosts to compromise the huge potential of fruit tree blossom.

It has been officially the driest March of my lifetime ( since 1961)   had a few jobs cancelled due to bird nesting concerns and it is fairly quiet workwise and I could not be happier !!  free time in good weather is not that common ..

Blue skies and sun after a light frost today. It's been incredibly sunny and rain-free for the last 10 weeks or so. 12mm precipitation and last month saw 180hrs of sunshine, which is pretty similar to an average UK summer month.
