Took my black lab poppy to be put to sleep on monday,she was 15. Mrs Oldwoodcutter says we're having no more.

That is sad ... I hope you find atleast some comfort in all the good memories she gave you.

Lost one of ours today, an infection of the Uterus meant she was going to need a hysterectomy and at just short of 10 years old the vet reckoned she didn't have a very good chance of making it through and even if she did there was a very strong possibility of further complications. First time we've ever had to make the descision to put one down and never realised how hard it would be.
