Reminds me of some (very) old joke I heard about two MPs chatting.

 

One says

 

”why is it that when we have a vote to outlaw badger baiting only 50 MPs turn up to vote, yet when we have a vote to decriminalize buggery the place is absolutely jam packed?”

 

 The reply

 

“Not many badgers in the House of Commons”
