A guy I went to school with makes watches. His marketing game is strong. Every Black Friday he announces a 0% discount. Basically says they’re good year round. I like it.

There was a report this week over a full range of stuff and the total saving was about 2% compared to other times of the year and say the Christmas sales.

 

Only a saving if you were going to buy the thing within the next few weeks anyway

Like Pride, Halloween, Valentines and other assorted nonsense, they won’t be happy till every week it’s ‘buy something for this or you’re a Scrooge’ week.

Hasn't being many decent sale discounts for yrs anyway online.

 

Only bargins ive found a is  at rdm times on amazon. I think AI  might be governing prices as they jump all over?

 

Was Samurai saws - (same as the silky  zubats saws) on there a few ys back for £9.99 each.

It's almost the same with Christmas adverts, they seem to get even more dire every year.

 

But hats off to Iceland, for saying we're not doing it and passing on the savings. Granted it's all smoke and mirrors but anyone that's sent me a black Friday email is high up my avoid where possible list.
