I sold my 2015 ranger last year, no rust on the chassis at all, or anywhere in fact.

Has to be the salt on the roads over there.

It certainly doesn’t help but the mrs ran a 64 plate insignia for 8 years until she took out a roe a few months back and sadly the car was a total loss, that car had over a 100k on the clock and zero rust underneath anywhere. Both my Ranger wildtracks in particular the last one a 68 plate have looked terrible after only 18-24months, I’m past caring now in all honesty as it’s well out of warranty ( chassis swap has been done) and the plan is to run it to the death so to speak.

Too much costcutting around a lot of the newer vehicles..subby i use has a 13 plate Navara and starting to look like major welding work required.

The " new " Navaras have a 5 year warranty on the chassis now . My 71 plate has seen one and a bit winters and its all good underneath  .

My 67 plate has surface rust but nowt to get wriggly about - 220k miles.....

I had a Lancia Beta HPE back in the 80's. Epic engineering with twin cam 8v, so right revvy, all discs and McPherson struts so handled and stopped right good but she dissolved by the time she was 8! Could out brake and out charge the TR7 I put a Dolly Sprint engine and box into! 4up agin 2 up too!

Nice motors but they rusted in the brochure!

My brother has a 16 plate Ranger. He lives on a costal town in the N.E of Scotland. Zero rust from what he can see. When he called a Ford appointed specialist regarding the Chassis issue he’s been told his Truck was not built at a plant affected by the rust issue.
