If they're piggybacking sena tech they will very likely be full duplex open channel, so you would talk like you were on the phone

These actually look good as can fit the husky visors rather than the tiny stupid Stihl ones with springs that always disappear, any more information on them or is this just a proposed product?

I believe the Sordin Share are currently available. They do look like a really good product but they are really expensive though and not quite chipper spec at 28 SNR. The Cardo chip inside the Sordin’s and the associated Cardo software seem to provide some better features especially for large companies like the ability for team leaders to configure the settings for multiple units via a computer and disable some features like stopping crew members listening to music while the intercom is on. It would be great if the Stihl ProCOM could provided the option to configure multiple headsets like the Cardo based products can.

Well that's a joke considering their using their tech.

 

Most of the guys I work with that have comms use sena. Probably because there's a really good bloke locally who fits them to your lids and does a great job.

 

The benefit of sena is that I can pair to one other non-sena headset if I need to.

 

I've also got a little sena headset (no helmet, just a headband) that I picked up for £120 that I can give to a crane driver if needed.

i would need more than sena comms to get my kids to listen !!
