Have done it. Had a Hernia years ago left it, turned out to be 7 years from when i first saw doc about it. I would not recommend leaving it.

Had a double,it is NOT big,clever,manly,desirable,done thing to leave it to develop, get better on its own, see doctor tommorow etc, caused me problems get it sorted sooner rather than later

Ian, if it's in the nether regions, as opposed to stomach / umbilical(?), when you cough or sneeze (even worse) you'll know...that' s my experience anyway and Doc confirmed it.

Climbed for 6 months while I waited for the opp. 

 

Used a support to hold it in place which work really well and without I would have had to stop working as the pain was so bad. 

 

Give yourself up to 10 weeks to recover after the opp.
