Yes it is how's it going.

Used the country over.

My Dad always used to say it as an answer. When anyone asked "how's it going?", he'd reply "oh I'm winning, just".

As opposed to " Don't  even know which bloody game I'm  playing! "

Better to play it safe and just talk about the weather.

"Not too bad a day today eh?" -  as you're getting battered in the face by a blizzard :vollkommenauf:

The comment that most bores me is  when random person ask am I busy with work , I say yes,

if it’s winter they will say: “it’s an Ill wind…!..”. and laugh at their own super clever comment that nobody has ever used before.

If it’s summer they will say : “ well, trees are always growing! “ and laugh at their other super clever comment.

FFS some one get this guy a coconut or he might be happier with a goldfish,, mind you he might moan about that as well,

Our working days are full of shitty snied comments aimed at each other, there is no offence in any of it but it just makes for a better working day in my eyes, Over the years i have worked with all age groups of people and by far the better ones to work with where the older guys who had worked on building sites and road building as there was never a dull moment in the day working with these guys, some of todays younger generation just seem so boring and make a day feel like a week,
