Yes but was,nt the original poster not saying he was not happy about doing it him self ?? anyway he did the right thing as he got someone else to do it and its now down,

Wasn't questioning the OP's decision to get someone in. Probably the sensible decision.

 

It sounded like you were suggesting that you should bore and release that tree. I was replying to that.

He wasn't happy felling it in one ... took all the branches out and sectioned it down so I'm thinking I probably did make the right choice ... you probably know him being local Stephen Bacon and it was £200
