Or a poor connection between the battery and starter. I don't know the machine so guess that the starter is well earthed to the engine, the return/earth leads may also warrant looking at.

 

Edit: Less likely, but we've had lots of starting problems on different machines that have turned out to be a faulty/worn ignition switch.
