You don't know the science behind it because there is none, old wife's tale, power out of a fishtail!, the best thing you can do is to slowdown steadily to bring the trailer back under control.

Not by speeding up   In theory the trailer cant snake if you are pulling it so hard its got to follow but in reality you just crash at a higher speed     Do not fight it. Do not ch
