Well it looks like SE will find out tomorrow how we will be helped out.it looks like 80% Of wages over previous 3yrs for long term SE with new SE needing proof in form of receipts and bank statements etc..it’s good to know that the government have come good on this but it’s going to be a nightmare to administer in a short time...just glad Boris is in the hot seat and not that twat corbyn..he wouldn’t have had a clue how to handle it.
Will that be 80% of net or profit?

Just spoke with insurance again.
Tried to cancel my PL and EL.
If I cancel i will still owe the full amount.
Waiting for an announcement from underwriters...

No you mean crooks declaring their earnings- just because we are self employed doesn’t mean we are dishonest. I’ve paid more tax in the last few years then I ever did when I was employed (admittedly 10 years ago). Buying an asset for your buisness is not trying to worm your way out of tax (they get you in the end), fiddling the numbers or being creative with what they are using for the buisness or whatever people do is a different thing.
