Anyone who runs an auger on their worky quad or similar, how do they perform and any brands you would recommend?

Auger torque x1500 on my Giant, runs it very nicely. Ive not used any others to compare to but I'm very happy with it so far.

The great thing  is what else you can do with the same machine- lift monster oak posts,  run debris away in the bucket and fork the materials around. Brilliant 👍

Shouldn’t end up

pissed, it should hang plumb. You can always slew to correct it once the hole is started too.

That one didn’t pivot side to side just front to back, was somewhat of a design flaw 🤦‍♂️

Nice Sunday morning job, pushing up a big pile of grass and leaves for a customer. So much quicker than the digger!

Quite impressed that it lifted this crate of hard-core

It makes life so much easier being able to keep the excess material from jobs on pallets/in bulk bags ready for the next job.

Nice little machine. Will be interesting to see what it makes.

How much do they lift with the back weights, can you remember?

Rated at 350kg I think, I was looking at them before I went for the WQ because of the narrow access.

And because someone (possibly you Reuben!) warned me that, because I’m basically idle, I would suffer from ‘arse stuck to the seat’ syndrome.
