Any sandwich ideas would be nice.
I’ve forgotten most of them.

I love strong cheddar with honey or strong cheddar, marmite peanut butter and honey or any combo of those. Even better adding in a banana.....

Keep it simple for me. Cheese and pickle, ham and mustard, Marmite, peanut butter or jam.

Or maybe controversially; tinned fish. Smoked fish as it comes out the tin or if its plain mackerel then a glug of Worcester sauce compliments it well. Or tuna and salad dressing.

Some of my favourites were smoked mackerel horseradish and rocket, cheese beetroot and salad cream, pilchards and vinegar. All with door slab granary bread

Cheese.

I always tell my missus, "Cheese, a moment on the lips a lifetime on the hips!"

Not a big fan of it myself.

As for sarnies, peanut butter, marmite and banana is surprisingly nice.

One of my favourite main meals that is very tasty and quick to make it Thai Krapow Moo sap.

Stick some rice on, I use a rice cooker as we eat rice multiple times a week.

Chop a couple of cloves of garlic and about 6 red chillis.

400g of pork mince (Alternative if feeling rich, slice some half decent beef steak about 3-4 mm and fry the same)  Cook the pork mince or steak till is is about done and remove from pan.

Reheat some oil and fry the garlic and chilli until the garlic turns golden.

Throw in the meat and juice, mix well.

Add 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp fish sauce, 3 tsp oyster sauce and mixed well

Add some holy basil leaves or fresh basil and cook for another couple of minutes.

Serve with rice and a fried egg.

Bangkok Street food in the house.

Chop up loads of garlic and start frying it in a wok then add a load of cold pre-cooked rice, fry until claggy then put into a bowl. Fry an egg or two and deposit on top of bowl of claggy rice, add a splash of soy sauce - Filipino breakfast.
