That’s a clever way to go about Cookies. I’ll have to give it a try.

Bought this 24” Deodar Cedar for £30, quite happy with it.

You might want to seal those asap or they will split once they start drying.

At least a couple of coats let the first one dry though.

One coats enough surely? You want to slow down the drying process not stop it completely.

Thin the pva down it will soak up the first coat and cookies tend to crack real easily at 2" thick

I m not sure you can stop them drying, and therefore splitting to be honest.  Has anyone succeeded in getting large cookies to dry without splits?  I haven't.
