A Quiet Country Lane

This is becoming a regular occurrence around here.  If they have to do it because they are charged at waste disposal centres could they not just back into a field gateway, why tip in the middle of the lane?

The last time it was a load of hedge trimmings, this time turf complete with fence posts.

Cant seem to open image but ...I know exactly what you mean . There is a little lane near me called " Two Barns Lane " runs between 2 arable fields and there is a right angle bend that is a favorite spot for fly tippers .   Sofas  , washing machines , worn tiers  and garden waste .  Boils my piss .

The problem will only get worse, here in darkest Norfolk they have started charging for DIY waste

DIY waste guide prices

Cost per item or per 80 litre bag or equivalent:

  • Rubble £3.00
  • Timber £3.00
  • Non-recyclable waste £5.00
  • Metals Free

You can dispose of flat glass, plasterboard and tyres at Caister, Dereham, Hempton, Ketteringham, King’s Lynn, Mayton Wood, Mile Cross or Thetford.

  • Plasterboard £9.00 (£15.00 at Mile Cross Recycling Centre)
  • Tyres £4.00 per tyre
  • Flat glass £5.00

It is becoming far too common.

Even more so in my opinion. If it wasn't for tight gits setting them on they wouldn't have anything to tip.
