Who locked the playground gates

Arbtalk has been pretty poor lately, not many threads holding my interest apart from matty f posting some rigging stuff.

Mods are over censoring in my opinion,we all know the rules, were all adults yeah some halfwits will get through but warn them or ban them dont close a thread down that gets alot of traffic.

There's no use knocking if nobody is home mate.

I mentioned about another forum I was a member of a few weeks ago, it, or should I say it's owner and moderators banned politics and religion being debated. That forum is almost dead, although it's got 25k members. Guess what.... the two moderators that started clamping down on things have never logged into that forum again.......... (insert your own swear word here).

If anyone spoke out they got banned, fat lot of good that did for the forum and the folk that paid (past tense) to advertise on there.

It's about time for a reshuffle.

I've no doubt that those who care most will be the first out of the door.

After much discussion between myself and the other mods the thread will be reopened, but will be followed more closely. This is not 'censorship' as some have suggested, but an effort to keep the site arb focussed. Personally I enjoy these threads, its interesting to read peoples varying opinions, but they are inevitably ruined by the same small minority hell bent on pushing their agendas(you know who you are). There are far more appropriate sites for that, and we will be paying closer attention to any trolling/flaming around these political debates from here on in.

Fair comment steve personally enjoy the varying views and in the right way debate is healthy and can be done in a tasteful manner. I even enjoy matelot and mark j going round for round it's kind of like a guilty pleasure☺️
