Beware the old crusty biscuits! Was once offered some home made ones by a lady. You needed a chisel to break them and two litres of tea to swallow them!

Must be A French thing, we were offered some paper wrapped "biccies" the name on the wrapping was "Henno"on removal they resembled slabs of mortar that you would get between courses of bricks, in both colour & texture my fellow faller placed his on a stump & hit with the back of his axe head it took 2 hits to break it, they must have been inedible as some 4 days later the were still where we'd thrown them the animals in the woods had not taken them.

I was last into the tea hut, every one else is sipping their tea, noses buried in their newspapers, as I am waiting for the kettle to boil I see a shadow in the half empty milk bottle, thinking it's the foil cap I swirled the bottle only to see a very drowned mouse through the glass.

When I pointed this out you can imagine the spitting/ spluttering and even retching as they realised!

I have applied some science to the subject. Left to right is a Tunnocks (brick), custard ream, bourbon, hob knob and far right a rich tea. The muts twostroke and diesel will decide which is best.:001_smile:

Diesel made a lunge for the custard cream first ( ack)

Twostroke grabbed the Tunnocks while Diesel hoofed down the Bourbon.

Twostroke was kept busy with that Tunnocks so Diesel went in and covered hobnob and rich tea.

Ah, that's what's needed. A passionate but independent assessment.
