Can someone help to explain the use of a Combi Fuel Can 5 Litre?
Doug Tait replied to handymidi's topic in General chat
It all reminds me of when I joined arbtalk, there was a question "what fuel used in a chainsaw?" to prove I wasn't a robot, only took me 3 attempts. -
Civilian passenger trains. Not saying it's right or wrong, but it will provoke a response.

Used it today, we like it a lot! 4Ah battery dismantled an ash, logged it up and stil lhad 1 bar. Quite a few decent sized cuts to test it out, perhaps 16" dia with the 10" bar. I meant to swap a normal 14" bar to try but didnt have time. The balance of it is good, and it doesnt seem to slow down even when battery is low.

One of the perks of being self employed Steve, I’d just not do it, I had an SNP clown at my door a few year back during Sturgeon’s tenure telling me how wonderful an independent Scotland would be. Needless to say he was asked to f… off politely.

mate of mine had his caravan nicked, first he knew of it was the five 0 knocking on the door, we got your caravan sir, no it cant be mine, goes to the rear of his property and there's the tow hitch still securely fastened to the rsj he welded a towball to and hammered into the ground about 5 feet they simply unbolted it from the van and left it there taking the caravan,, the cnuts would have got away with it had it not been for five 0 sitting up the road from the local pub waiting for possible dui, when this transit with a caravan came past wagging the van all over the road,, they had tied it onto the towbar with a rope! plate on the transit came up dodgy, plate on the caravan came up with its owner. a mile up the road. he phone me the next day,, what the best thing for thieves,,, "ya only need 3 things" I told him,, "a spade, soft ground, and a big bag of lime".

I have built up a contracting business over the last 30 years and gradually changed over to consultancy. We cover BS5837 / Mortgage Reports / Safety Reports using a good software and data capture system . I now have too much work and wish to semi-retire . The website is a major asset bringing in around 3 clients per week (all over the south east and beyond). Some of the work is done by an associate when I'm unable to service all the customers. Sales often exceed £1500.00 per week and I'm basically a one man operation doing three days a week surveying so lots of room to expand or add onto your company. Many customers also ask for any works to be done also. What's in the sale? 1. A top notch website, optimised to attract southeast customers. 2. Introduction to existing customers, many are large clients and Architects. 3. Assistance from myself with the set up teething problems. This is a genuine opportunity from someone who has been in the business a long time , The business is still running and attracting new clients every day .£3,500

Ahh thanks guys appreciate that. I will take a look at time tree and see if that works for me. Thanks Mark and Mick, I too much perfume the pen and paper life myself but it’s seems as though I must move forward into the new age of media. Thanks Excels1or. I will see if my partner is familiar with google calendars etc as this may be the route to take. If I discover anything new that saves time in this area I shall let you all know because paperwork is the absolute bane of my life. Appreciate the help 👍

What am I doing wrong with these young trees?
Justin Peer replied to Justin Peer's topic in Forestry and Woodland management
Morning all, thanks very much indeed for all the replies. So, it does sound like we should stake the trees at an angle, the only problem with that is that we couldn't then put guards round them. The trees were all bought as bare root slips 5 years ago so we couldn't really have done that at the time, there wasn't enough of the trunk to fasten like that I don't think. I'm going to get some shorter stakes and try staking the ones that fall from now on at an angle with something like sizal rope, which sounds like a good idea. I took the guards off a couple of the aspens a few months ago and the deer have already eaten the bark off those so not sure if many of them will survive but sounds like I can't keep doing what I've been doing up to now if I want the trees to grow stronger and be able to grow up unsupported. -

I understood most of that. Where do we stand on animal welfare standards? i.e. we lead the world (UK) but the EU lets it’s other countries treat their own ‘rules’ like very rough guidance. The EU are a cancer. Brexit has been a total shambles, and we are worse off for sure, but being tethered to those self-serving, bureaucratically crazy hypocritical twats what was made 52% vote to get out of their evil grasp.
