  2. Leavitt is definitely worth the humour to watch the press conference, the instant attack and blame everything on Joe Biden, you can almost script her answers yourself (it is like a Leavitt Bingo card I have). In the US there is nothing unusual about price tags having the 'price' plus the various sales taxes listed (remembering 'ticket price' is before tax), all Amazon are doing is continuing this established procedure and listing import taxes. For clarity, the American consumer can now see clearly which products have no import tax (ie American produced goods) and which are imported, you'd have thought she'd think this is a good thing wouldn't you.... except the instant leap to attack suggests she is trying to defend something she cannot really defend.
  3. I meant the green thing on the first picture. Not the info capsules.
  4. I'm unsure what this is, the fungus looks back and old. A large amount of wood at the base is soft, wet and powdery/crumbly, but I only probed it quickly with a stick. The oak is reasonably sized, has been reduced hard before, and would hit a house if it failed. However I know oak is very strong and resistant, I dont imagine it would fail anytime soon. Sorry for the poor photo, phone was dirty. A neighbouring tree about 50 meters away had Kretzschmaria, which failed with soft rotten roots in december. This looks more like a ganoderma or old turkey tail?
  5. Our apple tree has started to look poorly again, more or less a year to the day. Yesterday the tree looked healthy and full of blossom, today it’s very wilted in places, the leaves look frosty and dead. Last year we put it down to woolly aphids. This year there are some, haven’t seen a great deal and have been scrubbing with methylated spirits as soon as they are discovered. Would like to know what’s causing the tree to go like this and put a stop to it.

  25. I would always ask for an updated Survey, I would also do a site visit if anything was controversial or flagging up concerns but as a general comment Officers are underpaid and overstretched with other commitments so not always possible.
  26. Aye I rack up the miles. Did about 1000 miles the other week. But I don’t pick conifers hedges cuttings out of flower beds or off gravel anymore so sitting in a nice Hilux looking at countryside isn’t a bad swap. Finished my cut n fill job yesterday I’ve been picking away at.
  27. Morning team, fine morning here! Blue skies and suns coming up behind the hills. Nice wee domestic job this morning then moving digger to next project. But first, breakfast!
