  2. Its when you put a longer bar into a bigger log for a given size power head . Put a 20" bar on a 50cc and use 18" of it as opposed to a 15" bar in a smaller log and only using 12" of it . On the 20" you are asking it to drag more cutters through the wood than you are on the 15" .
  3. It snowed mid morning for about an hour . Great big flakes the size of a saucer ! Ground too warm for it to settle .

  5. Problem with 'just needs his signature'... all good, he can sign it away however Trump has asked them to start, and they have done, an investigation into Clinton and others. Anything that is evidence in those investigations will not be available or will be heavily redacted in case public knowledge could be used to influence future juries. He hasn't suddenly changed his tune overnight to hang himself, he has put in place a procedure to keep a lot of the files locked away for another few years. Any of the incriminating videos and photos cannot be released either if the images contain a minor (schoolgirls / schoolboys). JP Morgan Chase were chasing (excuse that one) the $$ that Epstein was sending their way. I think they have paid some compensation out for this? Khashoggi - only half listened to that clip last night, Trump was saying something like "Many people didn't like him anyway".. so that is OK, 'we' didn't like him so it is OK to murder him.
  6. You are right to watch out for sharks like woodlands.co.uk Sometimes the ownership rights these people offer is very sketchy and your "plot" is in the middle of a much larger woodland block with no access. The price can vary hugely - £10k an acre used to be the rule, but commercial blocks or planning potential can boost the price. Plus proximity to towns and wealthy areas and good access will boost the amenity value for people like you. I think technically there is a limit on the number of night for a private campsite (60 days?) which should be plenty. It would be unusual but check for a restrictive covenant against overnight stays. There is a lot of discretionary costs that you can make - pruning, thinning, replanting etc. Compulsory costs would probably be limited to fencing and branches falling through fences, especially where the neighbours are livestock farmers. If access is shared there may be road repair costs. If the woodland is part of a grant scheme or accreditation, this will come with conditions. You'd want public liability insurance.
  7. Yes that should happen. Now open each screw, one at a time and tell us which one is allowing the air through…. I think that’s ok too. You are blowing into the metering chamber only, so long as you have the little valve and it’s gubbins plus the diaphragm in place. That’s the chamber where fuel is supplied to the jets….. So here you are creating a little bit of pressure on the fuel side of the jets, you are blowing through the main jet and low speed jets in the direction they are supposed to work. The one way valve in the main jet should be open in this direction. With the low speed circuit there is sometimes a little one way valve at the entry to the low speed circuit, which would also be open in this direction. What is not ok is the purge bulb (or you) being able to suck through the main jet one way valve. And it’s not ok, being able to suck through the low speed circuit one way valve if there is one, less of a big deal, but still not good. Worth mentioning, both one way valves are often a little leaky with air, less so with fuel in them. Secondly, if the purge button pops back really slow and fills with air, its likely the fuel filter inside the carb is probably blocked …. bulb can’t suck fuel so it does what it can and sucks air, through the jets. And finally, leaky fuel line (between carb and bulb) or the bulb itself will allow air into bulb, I think this is pretty obvious. But less obvious maybe is that a leak in this area can easily allow air to be sucked into the carb metering chamber when engine is running…. Food for thought.

  9. Also is the cable routing slack enough to handle going round corners? but not too slack that it catches on things?
  10. I don't believe that it's about assimilation. On the push side it's just the age old pursuit of wealth and power, but happening at an unprecedented speed. On the pull side it's the human love of convenience and novelty. Digital per se isn't the problem. It'd be fine if it was used wisely and altruistically.

  12. As mentioned before I reckon, as long as the electric fuel pump is working, that it will be an air leak. Check the fuel lines or replace, fairly cheap job and easy to do.
  13. is this still for sale

  19. Mate of mine has just had his hedge laid and is in need of a load of hazel binders to complete the job. Is anyone aware of a supplier of these in the Herefordshire or surrounding area? The hedge length is 63metres. Many thanks, Bob
  20. Exactly that mate, some days gardening, others tree waste
  21. Thai Prawn Crackers. In a league above the ones you get free with the Chinese takeaway. They've got a little chilli kick and not overly sweet.
  22. he says his model has a Teiki carb If the machine looks like this it is probably too old for the Chinese to bother copying the carb
