  11. If you join Geocache you can search for ones nearby. There may not be any tree top ones near to you but they are quite common. I found one or two when I first started climbing - containers tied into tree (often trees in recreational grounds/council owned land) with a pen / paper inside to identify self and see who else has found. At the top of one plane tree (approx) 60ft , there were about 30 names of people who had discovered. Ideally in recreational grounds choose trees away from paths .If possible do early mornings when less people. Hoist rope into tree and leave coiled on branch so that you are hidden and take as little gear as possible to reduce risks - ie no silky hanging off harness. Heres a guy on youtube finding one The Geocache website is Geocaching WWW.GEOCACHING.COM Geocaching is a treasure hunting game where you use a GPS to hide and seek containers with other participants in the activity. Geocaching.com is the listing service for geocaches...
  12. I believe the UK to just as complicated but with the added burden of shite weather and eyewatering house prices...
  13. They are parasites Dan. The sooner the public realise this the better.
  14. Yes, bacterial canker. Interesting to see shot from further back - those shots have epicormic sprouting which is not quite normal in healthy hc. Keep watching, can be slow decline and eventually canopy starts dying back - have removed a couple in our village with this.
  15. Walked passed these while shutting a gate by a farm. Not something you see very often, I did wonder about making a bid.... yonks ago, Denn8ngs of Chard used to fit surplus Spitfire and Hurricane wheels to their mobile saw benches.

  16. Does anyone know where I can get ibc crates from in the south West? Looking to buy in bulk but can take smaller loads
  17. Potato crates? They have small gaps to allow airflow but still keep the wood in, would depend if you had a method of moving them once full
  18. Very nice. Wish my body was 20 years younger still! Used to enjoy that stuff.
  19. Work up front, so to speak.
  20. Was only 210 per arctic load
  21. Mate of mine is thinking of buying this box to live in, and he's asked me to do the conversion. Am I right in thinking I could cut through the bulkhead into the box to create access from cab to living area? My thinking is it would be fine as the bulkhead and box aren't structural. 22. Ive heard the Sherpas and ASs are good. The Grillo looks like an Iseki, maybe the Grillo is a knock off. Ive just managed to raise the deck a bit on the Grillo, by moving a 'shut off' so the blades can turn in the travel position. The highest standard height setting was 90cm, which was too high and I was hitting too much and digging into the soil.
  23. I love how this has gone from weird stuff found in a tree, to looking at cool old gats. keep it up lads!😍
  24. how about a nice patio,,

  26. One bump for the week.
  27. Really great to see the arb community rallying behind Andy’s Man Club. Mental health often gets overlooked in physical trades, even though the pressure can be intense. Raising awareness and funds through something so community-driven makes a real difference. I hope more events like this pop up—it’s a reminder we’re stronger when we talk and support each other openly.
