  2. Apologies. Bike inner tubes work well for this. cut a section out and with a twist it holds it in place. I'll post a picture later
  3. One of these days you'll actually pick-up the socialist TDS rag your a subscriber to and just sit in silence, but think that's more likely the morning after you've expired for the rest of us. Granted I personally think no matter who is in/out/near/far from power will ever actually make you accept that's how it is and move on. Maybe disconnect for a while and not listen to auntie for a couple of weeks, maybe go cold turkey and see if that general malaise or depression lifts a little.
  4. Apart from the single point of wear, you will get. A stainless swivel bit would be a good upgrade, assuming its alluminium atm.
  5. As I have always understood it the big dawgs are softwood dawgs coz of the thick chunky bark .
  6. would that be classed as a post coital beverage?
  7. cant even be arsed reading your shite. put your racist toys back in the pram and leg it something childish about my name being close to cock? or do you just think about cock more than most people? is that it? comeback? if you want my cum back youll have to scrape it off your daughters teeth.

  10. PeteB and Dan, I'd 100% agree with you, re: supporting UK/EU manufacturing, every time -I always detest/avoid buying Chinese goods or tools.. I'd actually spoken with the Greenmech designer/director about two potential improvements to the CS100, prior to likely buying one (-and he was already independently considering one of the mods, then ). But that was 2 years ago now, and sadly, it's evidently gone nowhere, in the light of recent sad takeover news there.. So, against all my principals, it's likely to be the Chinese/MDL chipper ( itself a copy of a Japanese machine !), the best replacement for my small chipper. It has the valuable addition (to me) of a feed roller and tracks, over the M500 JoBeau unit. 🤔😒
  11. Scottish land ownership is pretty murky. Its much harder to work out who owns land, there are a lots of murky community ownership tenures around, the owners can hide bheind companys, trusts or nominees and far more of it is not on a modern map-based registration system. Are worried about trees falling on houses or roads? I think you have a two options. - Pay a solicitor that specialises in land ownership to work out who the owner is. - pay for a tree survey to give to the council or discuss with your house insurers
  12. New Senser album, @Oldfeller.

  16. That’s a fairly simplistic view, but one I totally agree with.

    Cambium Savers

Not had any issues of them getting stuck, mostly pull them from the ground unless its a tight union. The steel ringed saver needs a bit of thought before pulling as it would hurt.
  20. Looking for a reliable tree worker for occasional quality domestic tree jobs. Must have own full climbing kit but will be predominantly on the ground. Will be some climbing opportunities. Own saws preferred. Must have basic rigging skills. Evidence of previous work essential. Need at least cs30/31/38. Efaw or preferably efaw+f. Good rates paid for a good cutter. Msg me and we can arrange a chat. 07398958616
  21. OK. ffs the price has gone up in the past two years. this is what I have and I would recommend it. Mityvac Silverline Vac/Pres Metal Pump Kit MV8500 646541004116 | eBay UK WWW.EBAY.CO.UK All images shown are for illustration purpose only. Silverline Vac/Pres Metal Pump Kit. just make sure you get one that does vacuum as well as pressure. Mityvac do a similar pressure only tester that I bought by accident first time round.
  22. Very pretty but as far as I can see it is a complicated/expensive way to save a small amount of time.
  23. I got fed up after both a Husqvarna and an Oregon one failed and leaked. I now just use an 5L aspen can filled with pump fuel and a 5L oregon chain oil can. Both pour really well without a funnel if you keep them at about 3/4 full. But I'm normally never far from a vehicle.

  26. Yeah, that was what I concluded. Though I had them in a dim unheated garage I think, maybe if they were in a bright, warm conservatory or something they'd do better. No need to buy more seeds, just use some from last year's chillies. They're always viable. Dead easy, especially if your drying them out anyway.
  27. Yes and yes, although the hinge quality on most Ash trees particularly the larger ones are unaffected by Ash dieback. Another tree served notice on by the highways. Set back 5m from the road edge with relatively lol usage and hardly declining. No way did it warrant removal let alone 28 day notice from highways. Very poor judgement. Sadly I was just the hired gun to kill it for another company. I'm awaiting a job direct for myself where I can offer to appeal the notice. Its all to common the highways are serving notice on trees that would be deemed tolerable risk if using QTRA which I know they use. So appealing it should be fairly straight forward.
