  2. Would benefit from a bit of tlc, good mulch and maybe bit of irrigation.
  3. Extra width will make all the difference to how fast the saw will cut. The blades will also need to be set and sharpened well. I’ve found a wide set up is far less forgiving than the narrower ones.

Haven't got any photos but here he is limbering up for one. He actually goes all the way round like an owl.

Pffft. Sailor stretches like a javelin. Best dog lunges in christendom.
  6. Hope some one can jog my memory here or offer an equally if not better solution… can’t remember when’re I saw this but a block had some sort of bottle cap maybe from a oil jug, with an X cut on the top over his saw lanyard connection point, this kept the biner ridged for quick holstering on stiff gate tool carry. if anyone’s got a better solution to this (and don’t tell me to get a shembiner) let me know. Thank you people 👊🏻
  7. You could go back and finish the job and he still might not pay you. I know people will say you can take him to small claims court. Either way it's all hassle
  8. It has probably taken this long for them to have a good look at their phones.
  9. if you have a 20 MPH limit you don't get anywhere fast
  10. If you can’t learn to sharpen a chain ,I don’t think you should touch a chainsaw its a basic skill my wife learned it in 30 minutes with good results!
  11. Yes I agree and the B1001 is a heavier build construction than the B751 and the additional width can't make that much difference to milling speed. Sounds like 23hp is ample power as it will be fairly rare milling anywhere near full width. I have a Panther on a 660 if the need arises. Panther is great for slabs but even with the intersect which I have, milling accurate dimensional timber is not easy. It would be luxury having a decent mill. Deciding where demand lies for particular forms of milled timber is something I am unsure of still ? Someone on here will now what the best sellers are hopefully.
  12. They are a bit aggressive! I don’t think they are bad though, just keep the flat file off and put it back on when needed as suggested in the video, but I find they work fine when the flat files and you have replaced the rounds. .
  13. This 2 in 1 file is rubbish ,i have seen so many destroyed chains it’s actually dangerous crap, you don’t need lower rakers every time you touching a chain, anti kickback chains practically don’t need lovering rakers at all ,so I don’t recommend those 2in 1 to anyone, gimmick!Plus 4mm file is pretty flexible and not work well in that setup, in particular if you don’t know what you at!
  14. You don't know that yet. It could take years to die.
  15. So just stripping the saw down ready to remove cylinder to do the transfer covers and am thinking I’ll do a base gasket delete and a ring replacement whilst I’m in there so just after a bit of advice as first time doing it. firstly, I’m looking at replacing the rings whilst I’m in there as can’t be bad idea to do them, comp is 150psi cold, piston is absolutely immaculate on exhaust side with machine marks still visible zero scratches whatsoever. No ‘special ‘ tools needed to replace the rings is there? Secondly I measured the squish currently at .95mm and I understand it wants to be just above .51mm - assuming gasket thickness from factory is consistent am I looking at needing no gasket just a sealant (recommendations please) or will I need some sort of gasket? lastly, saw has limited coil and I’ve tuned it so that it cleans up instantly when put on load and goes straight back to four stroking when unloading mid cut (as I understand to be correct) - however I’m about 1/16 if a turn off the upper adjustment limiter so thinking I’ll need to remove limiters as more fuel will be needed after mods? Is that correct? many thanks in advance for advice given
  16. Top as it's a single bolt, the lower is one of those adjustable angle of dangle types.
  17. Thanks. Rechecked order and it’s the correct one taken off tensioner and still no joy also used leavers, screwdrivers etc but no joy didn’t know if I had to take a wheel off ? if so which one. Top or bottom and can it be done

  19. Need to wait a couple of years before you will really know
  20. Think you got the wrong size belt, there should be a lot more lack. But a tyre iron/screwdriver can be used to lift it up and roll in into the next groove as you turn over the engine obviously with the spark plug disconnected.
  21. Hi. I’ve snapped both of the belts on my flail topper ATV120 I’ve managed to change one belt but unable to move it to the second location further back. how do I get the second belt on Any help is much appreciated thanks
