  1. Past hour
  2. I’ve replied SP but you should really be doing your taxpayer funded work lad not pissing about here. A wee man with such an interest in politics yet oblivious to little Beth Rigby 😂😂💩💩 “apparently” Trolleys or Spreadsheets which lie is it today.
  3. Obviously got time to sit and google away trying to score points feigning ignorance about Skys Number 1 political reporter. Simple fact is it’s easy to lie online from behind the veil of anonymity the internet offers.
  4. They have had their 9:30 cup of tea from the trolley, next round I do will be at 9:45, so got loads of time. However you are detracting from:
  5. It's his work from home Friday, he's probably still in his boxer shorts, leopard print dressing gown and bunny slippers.
  6. Someone’s supposedly at “ work” I see time to post on the taxpayers ticket lad.

  8. Guys, we a fcking idiots, she was on the Andrew Marr show last in 2019, how come that didn't register with our conscience in 2025? Obvious now who she is. Edit: And was a journalist with the newspapers before 2016 when she joined Sky... Google tells me so. But are you cross threading your upset at the world again JonsonD?
  9. So sorry to hear, this is one of the hardest subjects to openly talk about. I have a few connections with this, both my brother and a lad I worked with in the past who then actually went on to work in Arb, struggled with this and did the silly thing. It's horrendous. You don't know the power of just one daft little joke or a chance meeting with an old mate to help change things even if it's just for a few minutes. There's actually a clip of a Jimmy Carr show where there's someone in the audience tells him that she's only there because of him, she'd stayed up one night after the family had gone to bed and she was going to do the silliest thing but found herself drinking and watching clips on YouTube, she found Jimmy's stuff and it made her laugh in a way like never before. She never went through with it and managed to get help the next day. We've never met but more than happy to be an ear on the phone if you need it, genuinely.
  10. I've had a few bouts but always related to something, a life change / family issues etc., so always been able to identify a cause and work through it knowing (hoping) with time it would get which it did thankfully. Maybe take some time to reflect / try to identify any cause...and when you do, if you do, change it (as far as possible.) Sorry if a bit incoherent but thanks for posting and opening up a gateway for others not doubt. Take care n reach out if gets too much. PS Don't forget the Jokes thread too, often raises a smile / laff on dull days.
  11. Today
  12. Sorry to hear that Les. Good move to share stuff like this and like stubby said we're always on the keyboard, you're amongst mates here! The meds can suit some folk well but don't discount other approaches, in the past when I've felt like that I didn't get on with meds but talking with a professional was much more benefit to me, might be worth asking the GP about those options. Keep talking to us regardless, and if a private message feels right I'm never far from arbtalk! All the best mate.
  13. I have 2 falteimers….or I should say ‘had’. I recently put one in the wash to see if I could renew it somewhat. don’t do that

  18. Morning all, Got up at 4am for a pee and it was so bright from the moon I checked the clock again. Pottering around today. Happy Friday.
  19. Sorry to hear this Les. You're over the first hurdle, reaching out to others. Keep going. This the thread you were looking for? There's loads of other related threads on here, much easier to find with a Google search.
  20. I found the circular ones to be more of a pain.. unless they are stored and transported flat, and not dropped they seem to tangle more. Presumably because the lines are folded and pinched like the cubes. Much better in the wind though, they don't need pegging down to stop them blowing over. Also petzl airline, mainly as its good and sold in 60m lengths which is frequently needed Falteimer cubes are the only cube brand worth handing money over for. They outlast the stein, weavers etc by many years
  21. I am using Petzle Airglide. Seems ok once you get the reel memory out of the line. Falteimer cubes for me. All others seem to be inferior and not very well constructed. The corners always seem to tear or end up twisting somehow and then making the cubes harder to open. Not tried the one in the picture but I have had my falteimers for over 10 years and they operate better than some of the brand new Stein and Notch knockoffs.

  24. Hi Les . Sorry to hear you are down in the dumps mate . I suppose Welsh rugby is no help ! I got depressed after my bike accident back in 2005 . It was life changing in as much as I could no longer play any sport and when I look back on it I was not a nice person to live with for a while . Gradually I realised its the cards I had been dealt and got on with life making the best of it . I do hope you can do the same mate . Not much I know but us wallys are always here on the key board matey . You know who we are .
  25. Sorry to hear Les. Keep strong. You are seeking help so that is positive. Onwards and upwards.
  26. And happy birthday Pete 🎂 🥳 🎉
