Have you considered having a 4G / 5G receiver on your house, that then provides your house with wifi and a landline. These receivers can pick up 4G signal where your mobile can't because they are stronger, higher up and point towards the source (if that makes sense). It'll be cheaper than Starlink and avoids giving money to Elon Muskrat.

Yes all phones will eventually be VOIP. But the challenge I have is how to keep my landline number but get the connection via another supplier (Starlink). The copper wire to the property here is in poor condition but is not being upgraded to fibre so I don’t want to keep paying for a really poor connection.

Someone on a bushcraft forum will know the little independents. Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately I can't, only had experiences of Dragon supplies. I do know Alpkit have made random stuff in the past with their sewing machine workshop but no idea about what they'd be willing to make or adapt, same for Rab with their workshop.

Apparently they escaped/got released during WW11 from a private estate, they've kept on wallabying in the wild ever since. Every now and then a grainy picture turns up alleging a sighting.

Is it for pulling burning thatch off buildings or hay stacks? I have a vague memory of something like that.

Can you recommend any custom makers who predominantly serve the private sector?

Oops, just spotted it's an old picture. Maybe they are gone after all.

Those up in the staffordshire Peak District, around Gradbach and The Roaches have been around for generations. As a kid I used to go out trying to find them, but never saw a single one. I thought more recently that they'd declined away and were no more, but obviously not.
-
No cutting edge, appears to be a needle end

Thats one I think I know a little about, not strictly a firemans axe but fire may be involved!

Not seen that catalogue page before, has one for both my local towns back at the farm. I'll have to keep buying auction lots!

I've always thought of her as a one joke comedian, "lets all laugh because the disabled lady talks about sex" - and that is about as far as she goes. Not sure that is enough comedy to host a whole game show. There are quite a few who were like that, single jokes (Jo Brand is one "laugh because the fat lady talks about eating cakes"), they fade away unless they can develop more than the single joke (Jo Brand did do that)

Wallaby island on Loch Lomond has about 50 - secretive, if you paddle out there they all hide
-
VOIP - I thought all phones were going that way now? Our phone is plugged into a wall socket rather than the router but is VOIP - you'd need to check of course, but it should be as simple as that.

Have a look at Dragon Supplies, they make military kit to order, done jackets in the past as far as I remember but they'll be able to knock up pretty much anything if you have a conversation with them about what spec you're after I think

Good on a plate apparently.

The title's a bit cheeky for a machine that does it work with a 20hp Honda GX! -
I'd agree but with reservation; would be good to see the whole tree to get an idea of form

There has been pictures took of one in Suffolk. Probably a number of them about, if you don't look for them you will not find them,
