The sting was set up due to reports that he was already accepting bribes in anticipation of being in a position to award government contracts. The probe began in August 2024. The FBI set up the sting, offered Homan $50k, which he accepted. This is on the record. What the current administration and the current FBI leadership are saying is that he did nothing wrong. This is patently not the case.

Morning all. Feeling a bit more like myself this morning. Got back at 4am on Saturday, went to bed and woke up with the most horrendous case of man flu. Fortunately the oh avoided it and was fine to get back to the grindstone, I was clearly unlucky to be targeted by the killer disease like us chaps tend to be with these things. Touch and go but it seems I've survived once more. Best wishes to Peds with his continuing recovery. Thought of Ted a lot, especially when I was lacking sea legs on the ferry! Hope he's well.
